Baseball and Baton

James had a baseball game today at noon. They won 15 to 6! The Phillies are currently in 2nd place with 7 wins and 3 losses. That will change I'm sure after all the scores are posted for today's games, but we can enjoy it for now.

Johnny said that James got three great hits! The 4th time up to bat he pounded it to right field. His best hit ever! But it was caught. :( I told James before the game that I would give him $10 if he hit a home run. It was close. Johnny said it would have easily been a triple. Still he had a great game and got a game ball! No more games until next Saturday afternoon.

Annamarye and I missed the game because we were at her baton recital. She just started taking baton in January and did a great job! She was the best one there!! What do you expect a mom to say?
