Bama and Batons

Wow what a game!! Congrats to Alabama for a fabulous win and National Championship!! I am sure my Dad was celebrating in heaven!

James was so excited that we said he could stay up and watch all of the game. Since it was a Thursday night and just one more day of school this week, we said he could. Well he did great, but fell asleep near the end of the game. We even tried to wake him up but he was out!

Here's James when he was 2 years old. We were visiting friends in Oklahoma and James got sick. He still has that little baby face - at least to me he does!

Last night Annamarye's baton class twirled at halftime of the Oak Mountain High School basketball game. They did really well. Especially since they haven't had a class since early December!

Here's Annamarye (in the middle) with her friends Emiline (left) and Sellers (right). They are twins.

Baseball and Baton

James had a baseball game today at noon. They won 15 to 6! The Phillies are currently in 2nd place with 7 wins and 3 losses. That will change I'm sure after all the scores are posted for today's games, but we can enjoy it for now.

Johnny said that James got three great hits! The 4th time up to bat he pounded it to right field. His best hit ever! But it was caught. :( I told James before the game that I would give him $10 if he hit a home run. It was close. Johnny said it would have easily been a triple. Still he had a great game and got a game ball! No more games until next Saturday afternoon.

Annamarye and I missed the game because we were at her baton recital. She just started taking baton in January and did a great job! She was the best one there!! What do you expect a mom to say? Afterwards we went out to lunch with my Dad and sister, Renee to celebrate! Here's the video and some pictures. When you watch the video, scroll down and pause the playlist music.
